The Sapana School, the dream (Sapana) of Dhruba Giri, is a project of the umbrella organization, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI). Founded in 2016 the school is an example of innovative education in the Chitwan region. Also see: Opinons

Stichting Sapana School is established on December 23rd 2009 in Geldermalsen in the Netherlands to support this school: Dhruba's dream.

school fund

The School fund is filled with donations in order to provide scholarships to children of parents who really need this. There is a policy of grants of scholarships under the watchful eye of the school board.

school building

The school is being built through NGO SVSI since 2013. The constructors are local workers, both women and men. The building is earthquake proof and made with local materials.

school inventory

The furniture of the school is designed to fit the building and adapted to the requirements of innovative education of the 21st century: child centered education. Also the furniture is made by local trades women and men.
